Camilla Scala (ITA) and Sandra Zaniewska (POL)
HAMMAMET, TUNISIA: Camilla Scala completed back-to-back title wins in Hammamet, Tunisia after winning her second $15,000 ITF Women's Circuit title in as many weeks at the venue.
The 22-year-old Italian came from behind, just as she had done in the final against Kaja Juvan in the final a week earlier, to record her second title win of the 2017 and third of her career with a 16 63 62 victory over fifth-seeded Polish player Sandra Zaniewska.
Scala had also defeated the Pole en route to the the title a week earlier, dropping just three games in a more straightforward meeting in the second round.
The world No. 537, who has now won all three of the singles finals she has contested on the ITF Pro Circuit, is closing in on the career-high ranking of No. 503 that she achieved on 25 July 2016.
She could reduce that gap still further this week as she looks to continue her fine form in Hammamet, where she is playing an $15,000 women's circuit event for the fourth successive week.
